Chapel of Saint Anne – A Hidden Gem in Turi

The Chapel of Saint Anne, the only surviving chapel among the many once scattered across the town, has been protected since 1980 as a significant example of 18th-century minor sacred architecture. Featuring a pitched façade, a small bell-cot with a single opening, and a rectangular interior covered by a lunette barrel vault, it houses the ancient painting of Saint Anne with the Child Madonna. Every year on 8th September, the chapel attracts devoted visitors for the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
