Official DMO for the Historic Quarter
Turi, 4 August 2025 – In the heart of the city, where the stones of the historic quarter guard centuries of silent memory, the Administration delivers its definitive word: the Municipality of Turi has approved, with Determination No. 66/2025, the direct assignment of specialist services for the establishment of the Destination Management Organization (DMO).
A concrete action, entrusted to GRAF Srl of Frosinone, tasked with guiding the Municipality through the delicate administrative and legal-technical activities necessary to bring to life a new framework for tourism management and local promotion.
A choice with vision
This is not a mere bureaucratic formality: it is the missing piece in a mosaic already set in motion with the TuriBorgoAntico project. Aware of the absence of internal figures with specific expertise, the Municipal Administration has chosen to rely on experienced hands, aiming to build a DMO capable of coordinating the tourism value chain and uniting institutions, operators, and citizens.
From the Determination to the “Borgo of Love”
The document is clear: the new organization will not only be an operational machine but also a strategic soul:
enhancing cultural and gastronomic identity,
improving digital communication,
fostering shared projects among public entities, private operators, and residents,
making the tourist experience modern and participatory.
In other words, the municipal determination lays down the institutional framework that will support “Il Borgo dell’Amore”, the beating heart of TuriBorgoAntico.
An ancient ritual for a bright future
Like a thurible swinging in the nave of a cathedral, this administrative act spreads in the air the fragrance of a promise: Turi is preparing to tell its story to the world, not only as a keeper of traditions but as a living community, able to transform the past into new prosperity.
The signature of the Head of the Urban Planning Department, Arch. Flaviano Palazzo, officially seals the start. Now the Borgo can look beyond its own borders: no longer just ancient stones, but a destination that is organized, narrated, and lived, ready to enchant travelers.
